Renewable Energies Engineering Dept. of Mechanical and Energy Engineering Faculty of Shahid Beheshti University by management of Dr. Majid Zandi has been focusing on three essential aims to keep a pole in the fields of renewable energy of Iran, since 2012:
- Setting up post-graduate programmes of renewable energies engineering by admission from students with multidisciplinary background in Engineering for training expert researchers in Iran (two masters and two doctoral programmes)
- Setting up a research center focusing on nexus of water, food and energy in Iran (Renewable Energies Engineering Laboratories Complex)
- Providing specialized consulting services to governmental and non-governmental entities in the fields of renewable energy (Knowledge-Based Company and Energy Observatory)
