توربین های بادی درختی در پاریس نصب خواهند شد

یک کمپانی فرانسوی به نام new wind در حال نصب توربین های بادی درختی شکل در مکانی به نام place de la Concorde در پاریس می باشد. هنگامی که موسس کمپانی حرکت برگ درختان را تحت یک نسیم ملایم در میدان اصلی پایس مشاهده می کرد، ایده ساخت این نوع توربین ها به ذهنش رسید. وی امیدوار است با استفاده از این نوع توربین ها بتوان از جریان های بادی هرچند ضعیف و کوجک درمناطق مختلف درون شهری برای تولید برق پاک استفاده کرد.

He is the first to admit the efficiency of the trees is low compared to more consistent currents higher up, but believes the £۲۳,۵۰۰ trees are more viable and less intrusive than ‘monstrous’ conventional wind turbines. The 26 foot high trees, which use tiny blades inside the ‘leaves’, could potentially be profitable after a year of wind speeds averaging 7.8 mph.
